Business Blogging: Why It's Crucial For Growth and How to Do It

The following is from Karl Kangur, the founder, and CEO of MRR Media. We are pleased to share his thoughts to assist you in developing a steady stream of traffic to your website and business.

Frustrated with Canada Revenue Agency?

Is it taking longer than 8 weeks to get your paper-filed personal tax return or T1 adjustment request assessed? Longer than 6 weeks to get your digital corporate tax return assessed?

Once you have tried to resolve this by talking to CRA agents (make sure you record their name and agent number) with no success, you have a right to file a service complaint with CRA. Their standard for resolving service complaints is 30 days. If you have no success by filing a service complaint, you can file a complaint with the Taxpayers' Ombudsman. You can read further details about the Taxpayer Bill of Rights here.

I recently moved to the Parry Sound area and opened up an accounting office in Parry Sound.  I have 20 years of tax experience and I can hardly understand the rules.  What I do understand is this will add significantly complexity for small and medium sized businesses to comply with the proposed tax laws if and when they are enacted and will also result in an increased tax burden to most.
